Disneyland Paris at Christmas is a unique experience. The park transforms from mid-November to early January: Main Street U.S.A. is covered in garlands and a huge tree, special entertainment takes over the parks, and Mickey and his friends wear their winter outfits. The Disney Enchanted Christmas is one of the most popular and photogenic times of the year, with high attendance as a result, particularly during the December school holidays.
Disney Enchanted Christmas dates
For the 2026 season, the Disney Enchanted Christmas is scheduled from Saturday, 7 November to Wednesday, 6 January 2027. The entire month of December is covered, including 31 December, and the season extends until 6 January. Dates for the following season will be announced by Disneyland Paris.
The festive period generally corresponds to the orange and red pricing periods, the most expensive of the year. However, November weeks outside school holidays remain accessible at intermediate prices with lower attendance than in December.

The decorations
The visual transformation of the park is spectacular. A giant Christmas tree stands in the middle of Town Square, at the bottom of Main Street U.S.A. The Victorian facades of the main avenue are decorated with light garlands, holly wreaths and ribbons. Shop windows display winter scenes, and at night, the whole park takes on a magical dimension that is hard to describe.
The Disney hotels are also decorated for the occasion, with lobbies transformed into Christmas settings - the Disneyland Hotel in particular is worth a visit even for non-guests.
Meeting Santa Claus
Throughout the Christmas season, it is possible to meet Santa Claus in a dedicated area of Disneyland Park. The wait can be long - plan to go right at opening or check the app for available time slots. The meeting is included in the admission ticket, with no extra charge.
Mickey and his friends in Christmas outfits
Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy and other Disney characters wear their special winter outfits throughout the festive period. Meet-and-greet sessions and parades are more frequent than usual, especially on Main Street U.S.A. during the parades.
Christmas shows and entertainment
Disney Electrical Sky Parade - Christmas version
The night parade takes on a festive look during the Christmas season. Illuminated floats parade down Main Street U.S.A. with light effects specially designed for the holidays. It is one of the most photographed moments of the period.
Mickey's Dazzling Christmas Parade
During the day, the Christmas parade goes through Disneyland Park with themed floats, characters in winter costumes and artificial snow. It usually takes place once or twice a day - times are available on the app.
Disney Dreams of Christmas
The night show projected on Sleeping Beauty Castle takes a special Christmas version during the festive period, with adapted lighting and pyrotechnic effects. It is one of the highlights of the evening, not to be missed.
Tips for visiting Disneyland at Christmas
Avoid 24, 25, 26 December and 1st January
These days are the busiest of the entire season and potentially of the whole year. Queues can exceed 2 hours for the most popular attractions. If you have flexibility, the weeks from 1st to 20 December excluding weekends offer a good compromise between Christmas atmosphere and more reasonable attendance.
Position yourself for the shows
The best spots for the Christmas parade and the night show on the castle should be secured an hour in advance. On Main Street U.S.A., the left-hand pavement (going up towards the castle) offers a good view of the floats.
Plan for warm clothing
Even if the atmosphere is festive, evenings in November and December are cold. Outdoor queues and open-air shows can get chilly quickly. A coat, hat and gloves are recommended, especially for children.
Enjoy the night atmosphere
Disneyland Paris at Christmas is particularly beautiful once night falls. The lights, the projections on the castle and the overall atmosphere justify staying until the evening, even with young children - consider bringing a stroller or carrier for the little ones.
