The Extra Magic Time
The Extra Magic Time (also sometimes called Extra Magic Time or Supplementary Magic Hours) at Disneyland Paris allows certain visitors to enjoy the attractions in the Disneyland and Disney Adventure World parks 1 hour before the regular opening time.
For example:
- When the park opens at 9:30, the Extra Magic Time lasts from 8:30 to 9:30.
- When the park opens at 9:00, the Extra Magic Time lasts from 8:00 to 9:00.
These privileged visitors therefore have Disneyland almost to themselves and avoid the crowds and queues at the most popular attractions, as the number of visitors at this time is limited.
Tip: try to arrive as soon as the Extra Magic Time starts to make the most of the full hour.
Who can enjoy the Extra Magic Time?
But who are these visitors who can enjoy this Extra Magic Time?
The 2 categories of visitors who can participate during the Extra Magic Time, before the normal opening of Disneyland, are:
- Holders of a Disneyland Annual Pass
- Visitors staying at a Disney Hotel (You will need to collect the Magic Pass upon check-in at the hotel)
Disneyland Paris Attraction Opening Hours
The attractions at Disneyland Paris have the same opening and closing times as the park in which they are located (Disneyland or Disney Adventure World).
Some attractions may be closed at certain times of the season for renovation, repair or other unforeseen reasons. Please check the opening or closing status of the attractions you do not want to miss before your visit.
Disney Village opening hours
Disney Village is an area accessible to everyone, free of charge and without an entry ticket. It is located a short distance from the 2 parks of Disneyland Paris and consists of themed restaurants, bars, shops and family-friendly cinemas, suitable for both adults and children.
The opening hours of Disney Village are longer than those of the Disneyland parks.
Indeed, Disney Village is open from 8:00 in the morning until midnight every day of the week and on weekends, allowing you to visit before going to the Parks or afterwards to eat, have a drink or shop.
