Disneyland Paris does not impose a single height requirement for the entire park. Only 10 attractions require a minimum height, ranging from 81 cm to 1.40 m. The calculator shows which ones are accessible and the next threshold to reach.

Height is checked at the entrance of the relevant attractions. If the child does not meet the required height, their age or the presence of an adult does not allow bypassing the rule. Use the tool to plan your programme, then check the conditions displayed on site on the day of your visit.

Thresholds do not correspond to ages. Two children of the same age may get different results. The table groups the ten affected attractions, from the lowest threshold to the highest.

Which attractions based on the child's height?

Child under 81 cm

Below 81 cm, none of the ten restricted attractions is accessible. This does not mean there is nothing to do. Peter Pan's Flight, It's a small world, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Pirates of the Caribbean, walking paths and many meet-and-greets do not display a minimum height. Always check the safety pictograms and any temporary restrictions.

Child from 81 cm to 1.01 m

From 81 cm, the child can access Autopia and Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop. For Autopia, separate rules may govern driving and accompaniment. At exactly 1 m, Big Thunder Mountain, Star Tours and Tower of Terror remain inaccessible: 2 cm are still missing.

Child from 1.02 m to 1.06 m

The threshold of 1.02 m opens up Big Thunder Mountain, Star Tours: The Adventures Continue and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. With the two attractions accessible from 81 cm, this means five restricted attractions are available. Crush's Coaster still requires 5 cm.

Child from 1.07 m to 1.19 m

At 1.07 m, Crush's Coaster joins the list. The fastest roller coasters remain closed until 1.20 m. This difference of 13 cm can significantly change the itinerary for a visit with several children.

Child from 1.20 m to 1.39 m

At 1.20 m, the child can access Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain, Avengers Assemble: Flight Force and RC Racer. Nine of the ten restricted attractions then become accessible. Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril retains the highest threshold.

From 1.40 m

The threshold of 1.40 m provides access to Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril. The ten attractions listed on this page are then accessible in terms of height, subject to other health, accompaniment and safety conditions.

Minimum height of the most popular attractions

Attractions with no height restriction

Most attractions at Disneyland Paris do not display a minimum height. This category includes family experiences such as Peter Pan's Flight, It's a small world, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Mad Hatter's Tea Cups, Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast, Ratatouille : L'Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy or Pirates of the Caribbean.

No height restriction does not automatically mean suitable for an infant. Some attractions are dark, loud, fast or may frighten younger children. A child must also be able to comply with the position required by the Cast Member. Age, supervision and height check

The restriction is based on the height measured on the day of the visit, not the stated age. A child aged 7 measuring 1 m cannot enter an attraction requiring 1.02 m. Conversely, meeting the threshold does not guarantee that an attraction is suitable for their tastes, health condition or sensitivity.

Height may be checked at the entrance. Do not allow for any artificial margin with thick shoes: staff apply safety rules and may re-check. To avoid disappointment, measure the child at home and keep a small margin below the displayed threshold.

Using Baby Switch

If a child cannot ride, the Baby Switch helps adults take turns enjoying an attraction. Present yourselves together at the entrance and ask the Cast Member about the procedure. Terms may vary depending on the attraction and crowd levels. The second adult usually avoids having to redo the entire queue.

Planning a day with several children

Start by entering the smallest child's height in the calculator. You get the base set of common attractions. Then add attractions accessible only to older children, using a Baby Switch or temporarily splitting the group. This method reduces back-and-forth between two distant areas and limits refusals at the entrance.
